This Art Nouveau marquetery tray comes from a Gallé collection and has been expertly attributed to being most likely from Emile Gallé (1846-1904) even if this piece is not signed.

The décor in this tray represents bunches of flowers, which is typical of many furniture décor from Gallé. This piece may be early work crafted during the end of the 19th century.
